A wish legacy becomes a statewide movement
In 1985, 10-year-old Brian of Gillette wished to have a BMX bike. Brian’s wish was not only the first wish granted by Make-A-Wish Wyoming, but it began a legacy of serving children with critical illnesses across the state for years to come.
Inspired by Brian's wish, Make-A-Wish Wyoming is proud to present Tour de Wish, a spring and summer series of 5k and 10k events hosted in communities across Wyoming. The series began in 2015 with seven participating communities around the state hosting a Tour de Wish event in their hometown. We invite wish supporters to celebrate Brian’s wish and the over 580 wishes that have since been granted to Wyoming children during our summer tour events.
Currently, there are wishes in progress all across the state of Wyoming. Your participation in a Tour de Wish event and continued support of Make-A-Wish Wyoming will make wishes continue to be possible.
