Zach: I wish to meet the Oklahoma Sooners

“ I even got to help with the pregame coin toss. ”

Zach lives for sports. Meeting the Oklahoma Sooners football team was a dream come true.

Twelve year old Zach from Casper likes video games and pizza, but his true love is sports. In September of 2010, Zach was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  After months of treatments, Zach is now in remission.  In November of 2011, Zach’s wish to meet the Oklahoma Sooner’s came true. Zach got the VIP treatment all week, attending practices and dinners with the team and hanging out with the players in the locker room. He even got to do the coin toss for the game!

UnitedHealthcare sponsored Zach’s wish, and we cannot thank them enough for their support year after year in helping us grant wishes like Zach’s.
