Watching 3-D movies at the theater is fun, watching them at your house is even better. Just ask Felicity.
Twelve year old Felicity from Gillette loves chocolate cake, Taylor Swift, and watching movies. Felicity has Craniopharyngioma, a specific kind of brain tumor. Though she may have a life-threatening condition, she doesn’t let that stop her from doing what she loves. When Felicity was referred to Make-A-Wish Wyoming, she thought long and hard about what she wanted for her wish. After much consideration, Felicity decided that her wish was for a 3-D television.
In August, there was a special delivery to Felicity’s house. Not only a 3-D television, but a surround system, blue-ray player, and some of her favorite DVDs arrived on the steps of her house. They got everything all set up, and friends and family gathered to help celebrate Felicity’s wish coming true.
Without support from our community, we would not be able to grant wishes like Felicity’s. The students at Green River High School did more than just raise funds for a charity; they granted Felicity’s wish and gave her memories with her family that will last for years to come, and we cannot thank them enough.
