Tour de Wish Laramie

Wish Inspired

In 1985, 10-year-old Brian of Gillette wished to have a BMX bike. Brian’s wish was not only the first wish granted by Make-A-Wish Wyoming, but it began a legacy of serving children battling critical conditions across the state for decades to come.

Inspired by Brian, Make-A-Wish Wyoming is proud to present Tour de Wish, a series of ride, run and walk events hosted in communities across Wyoming. We invite wish families and supporters alike to join us as we celebrate Brian’s wish and the more than 570 wishes that have since been granted to Wyoming children with Tour de Wish Laramie on September 22, 2018.

Transforming Lives Together

Currently, there are 39 Wyoming children facing critical medical conditions across the state whose wishes are in progress, including 12-year-old Lexi. Lexi was diagnosed with gastrointestinal disorder in 2015. Her wish is to go on a surprise beach vacation complete with zip lining and play in the ocean. With your support, wishes like Lexi’s and many more will be granted, bringing hope to a Wyoming child when it is most needed.

Event Sponsors

Tour de Wish Laramie would not be possible without the support of our generous sponsors. We thank each sponsor for being a part of Make-A-Wish Wyoming’s 4th Annual Tour de Wish Laramie. It is because of your continued support that wishes are possible!

  • Oakley has defied the odds since birth and continues to inspire others to "live every day you have," according to his mother. To grant Oakley's wish for a soft playround, it took a community of caring individuals. Lance Byrd of Byrd's Handyman Services, Campbell County Fire Department, and countless others not only made Oakley's fire truck themed soft play set possible but continued to go above and beyond for his special day.
