There is nothing like the magic that exists during the holiday season. At the heart of this magic, is desire to give back to those in our community who are most deserving and the University of Wyoming Chi Omega chapter is doing just that.
In the spirit of the holiday season and the pursuit of granting the wish of every eligible child in the state, the University of Wyoming Chi Omega chapter will be hosting Believing at 7,220ft; an event done in coordination with Macy’s Believe campaign. Join the women of Chi Omega at their chapter house Friday, December 8, to share in the festivities of meeting Santa Claus, writing holiday letters, and drinking hot chocolate from 4 to 8 pm.
The goal of Believing at 7220 is to collect over 60,000 letters written to Santa and delivered to Macy’s for the company’s tenth annual Believe campaign. The national campaign encourages people to believe in the magic of the holidays and join in the spirit of giving. For every letter Macy’s receives nationwide it will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish, up to $1 million. Join us to celebrate the magic of a wish and the power in believing. And remember, you are never too old to write a letter to Santa.
The chapter will be accepting letters remotely from all around the state of Wyoming from now until December 8th, which can be sent to the Chi Omega Sorority, 1630 E. Sorority Row, Laramie, WY.
